What does a Dyson warranty cover?

A Dyson guarantee covers the repair or replacement (at Dyson's discretion) of your Dyson machine if it is found to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within the guarantee period.
If any part is no longer available (e.g. particular colour variations), Dyson will replace it with a functional replacement part.

What isn't covered by a Dyson warranty?
Dyson machines are engineered and constructed for continual high performance in normal domestic settings. If a Dyson machine is used in the way it's intended and it breaks down within the guarantee period, it's our responsibility to repair or replace it.
There are, however, some circumstances in which a Dyson guarantee doesn't cover the repair or replacement of a machine. These aren't hidden in the small print. Here's what isn't covered:

1. Normal wear and tear, including parts that might wear out over time (e.g. fuse, belt, brush bar, batteries, filters etc.).
2. Accidental damage
3. Damage as a result of use not in accordance with the rating plate.
4. Damage caused by not carrying out the recommended appliance maintenance.
5. Removal of blockages. If your machine becomes blocked, please refer to the Dyson Operating Manual for details of how to unblock it. If you are unsure, our customer support helpline is free to call on +632 7917 4777 (phone). A Dyson expert will talk you through what to do.
6. Damage from external sources such as transit, weather, electrical outages or power surges.
7. Failures caused by circumstances outside of Dyson’s control.
8. Faults caused by:
   1. Negligent use, misuse, neglect or careless operation of the machine;
   2. Use of the Dyson machine which is not in accordance with the Dyson Operating Manual;
   3. Use of a Dyson machine for anything other than normal domestic household purposes in the country in which it was purchased.
   4. Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions of Dyson.
   5. Use of parts and accessories which are not Dyson Genuine Components.
   6. Faulty assembly or installation (except where carried out by Dyson).
   7. Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than Dyson or its authorised agents.

What are the terms and conditions of the warranty?
The terms and conditions of a Dyson guarantee are as follows:

• The guarantee becomes effective at the date of purchase.
• You must provide proof of delivery / purchase before any work can be carried out on your machine under the guarantee. Please note that without this proof any work carried out will be chargeable. Please keep your purchase receipt or delivery note.
• All work will be carried out by Dyson or its authorised agents.
• Any parts which are replaced will become the property of Dyson.
• The repair or replacement of your machine under guarantee will not extend the period of the guarantee.

When does the warranty become effective?
A Dyson guarantee becomes effective on the date of purchase or delivery of your machine, whichever is later.

How to register your machine:
All Dyson machines are covered by a full parts and labour guarantee. Cordless vacuums, hair dryers, hair stylers, fans and purifiers for 2 years. Excludes any accessories or tools.

Products purchased from HairMNL are covered by the warranty under WPI (the exclusive distributor of Dyson in the Philippines).

A: The Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ is Dyson’s first connected multi-styler. It offers all the styling capabilities of the original Airwrap™, now enhanced with app-powered features and new attachments. By connecting to the MyDyson™ app, you can access real-time updates, personalised styling tips, live settings, and filter maintenance reminders.

Q: How does the i.d. curl™ personalised curling sequence work?
A: After connecting your device to the MyDyson™ app, you’ll be asked to set up a hair profile. Based on your hair type, styling goals, and skill level, the i.d. curl™ sequence determines the ideal timings to wrap, curl, and set each section of hair. Simply push the power button all the way up to activate the sequence. The machine will automatically wrap the hair, apply heat, finish with a cold shot to set the curl, then release the section in Ultra Low Flow Mode.

Q: What barrels are compatible with the i.d. curl™ sequence?
A: All Dyson Airwrap™ barrels can be used with the i.d. curl™ sequence. Timing remains the same regardless of barrel size.

Q: Can I use my Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ multi-styler and dryer when travelling to countries with different electrical voltages?
A: Your styler has been precisely engineered for the voltage of the country where it was purchased, ensuring optimal performance. As voltage differs between countries, please refer to the guarantee section in your user manual before use.

Q: Is the Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ multi-styler and dryer dual voltage?
A: No, it is not dual voltage. If your Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ was purchased in a country with a 220V–240V supply (such as the Philippines), it can only be used in countries with the same voltage range. Use outside this range is not recommended.

Q: Does the Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ include an ioniser like the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer?
A: Yes, the Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ has a built-in ioniser. It emits negatively charged ions to help reduce static and frizz for smoother, shinier results.

Q: Will the new attachments be compatible with the previous Dyson Airwrap™ multi-stylers?
A: Yes. All attachments are fully compatible with previous Dyson Airwrap™ devices.
