Frequently Asked Questions
Alchemic is a color-enhancing system of shampoos and conditioners with pure direct pigments. It deposits non-permanent color on the outside of the hair shaft to intensify, tone, and brighten your shade without harsh chemicals like ammonia or peroxide.
- Shampoo: Massage into a wet scalp, lather, and rinse thoroughly.
- Conditioner: Squeeze out excess water, apply evenly from mid-lengths to ends, leave on for 5 to 8 minutes, and rinse well.
You can use the shampoo and conditioner daily or as needed.
- Silver: Cool blonde, platinum, bleached, or gray hair (anti-brassiness).
- Golden: Warm blonde or honey tones.
- Copper: Coppery and warm reddish-brown hair.
- Red: Deep red or mahogany shades.
- Tobacco: Light to medium warm brown hair.
- Chocolate: Dark brown to black hair.
It works best on lightened, bleached, highlighted, or color-treated hair because pre-lightened or porous strands absorb the direct pigments most vibrantly. It is also great for natural hair that wants an instant boost of shine and subtle color reflection.
No, it is non-permanent and washes out gradually over 3 to 10 shampoos. It does not permanently lift hair or fully cover gray hair, though it can lightly blend silver or gray strands.
Because it contains pure direct pigments, richer shades (like Red, Chocolate, or Creative shades) can temporarily stain hands or light porous tiles. Wear gloves during application and rinse your shower immediately after.
