<ol><li>Open the Battery Cover. Insert one (1)"AAA" size battery(not included) observing the battery polarity (+/-) polarity as indicated in the diagram.</li><li>Securely close the Battery Cover.</li><li>Press the MIN and/or SEC Buttons to set the desired countdown time(up to 99 min 59 sec).</li><li>Press the START/STOP Button to activate or deactivate the countdown timer.</li><li>To silence the alarm (after the timer has elapsed): Press the START/STOP Button.</li><li><strong>Note:</strong> The timer has a built-in memory function that will retum the timer display to the last set countdown time.<ul><li>To clear the countdown timer, simultaneously press both the MIN and SEC Buttons.</li></ul></li></ol>
